Q: How do the session themes impact the camp?  
A: Camp themes will provide a loose framework to anchor classroom investigations. Also the theme may be used for stories, songs or small group activities and choices during that camp session. This is a camp for preschoolers with an emphasis on outdoor exploration of our natural playground, indoor small and large group activities with high quality materials and activity choices and free-play time in our beautiful and inspiring classrooms.

Q: Do you offer extended care?
A: Extended care is not available.

Q: Do you have early drop off?
A: Early drop off is not available.

Q: Is the camp nut free?
A: Yes, the Summer Camp, Beverley Hills Church Preschool and the grounds are nut free.

Q: Do the children need to be potty trained?
A: No, potty training is not required.

Q: Do you have swimming?
A: There is no swimming, but our Natural Playground has many fun and exciting water features. There will be water play!

Q: A friend has also signed up for camp. Is it possible to request to be in the same group?
A: It may be possible depending on the number of campers and age of the children, but there are no guarantees on placement.

Q: My child is almost old enough to attend. Can they still attend camp?
A: Campers must meet the minimum age requirements. Campers must be 2 years old by December 31st and no older than 5 years old.

Q: Can my child bring their own snack?
A: We provide a simple, healthy snack each day. If your child has specific food allergies, please speak to the Camp Director.

Q: Are the teachers the same as during the school year?
A: BHCP teachers will be teaching and directing the Summer Camp.

Q: What if I can only come to one week of the camp session? Can I pay half-price? 
A: We are unable to offer half-sessions.

Q: How many kids / teachers per class and what are the age ranges?
A: The Lower Level Class is capped at 12 children. The Middle Level Class is capped at 14 children. The Upper Level Class is capped at 17 children. Each class has one teacher, one senior counselor and at least 1 additional junior counselor. We also have a playground counselor who is on the playground for the entire day.

Q: How many children are in a group? 
A: Small group sizes depend upon the activity, level of interest, and other offerings in the classroom that day. Typically, small groups range from 2 to 6 children.
