Wonders result when parents become involved with the school and its exceptional staff. This is BHCP's special formula and is what makes it so unique. Many of the returning families are active participants and have experienced first hand the powerful combination of parents and teachers working together to build a community for our children. We hope you take the opportunity to get actively involved in your child's education…. right from the start!

Beverley Hills Church Preschool provides many opportunities for involvement from the classroom to maintenance to steering the schools direction. We ask that one parent from every family participate in at least one of the school committees. It's an excellent way to meet other parents and contribute your talents to this community. Parts of the enrollment packet tell us how you wish to participate in the Beverley Hills community.

Health and assessment forms must be filled out prior to the start of school. New Member forms are due June 10th and Health forms are due July 30th. Please complete them all and return to the designated committee chairs in the time frames requested.

Applying to BHCP

We offer classes for ages 2 1/2 to five . The enrollment process at BHCP begins with the annual Open House, generally held the third Saturday of January weather permitting. At that time prospective families can tour the school, meet current staff, families and board members, and if interested, complete and return an application for enrollment. Enrollment in the preschool is on a lottery basis, with a waiting list maintained for the current school year only.

We strive to reflect the diversity of our community in our population and encourage applications from all who are committed to our educational philosophy and approach, as well as the co-operative nature of our preschool. Admissions preference is given to members of the Beverley Hills United Methodist Church, siblings of current or former students, and children of alumni.

If you are returning to Beverley Hills and are familiar with the routine, then you will simply need to download the Enrollment Packet and the VA School Entrance Form and return these to Beverley Hills Church Preschool.

If you are new, please also read the BHCP CO-OP Responsibilities and take a look at the Calendar or download it if you want to stick it on your refrigerator.
